An update for Culver Road. Sussex FA have been more vigilant putting out no parking cones to now include times when parking is restricted anyway due to drivers ignoring single yellow lines and driveways. I believe double yellow lines have been requested by Sussex FA but this has been refused.


Matters Discussed:


Inspector Lowe advised us of the forth coming changes to Neighbourhood Policing ,but with reduced numbers, PCSO's will have to re-apply for their Jobs, the New Name will be Neighbourhood Prevention Team.


Seaside Primary School,parking problems. Paul Abbott from NSL assured the meeting that control was now being enforced.

Parking problem and access difficulties Culver Road., Yellow lines refused.

ASB North Road & South Street (anti social group of girls ), hot spots outside co-op & Monks Rec.


4 Attempted break ins.

 one on stables, on going investigation, one arrest,damage to door.


Attempted bag snatch in Sompting Road.


12 Suspected shoplifting, 6 arrests 5 + one in court

Major accident at Lancing Manor still under investigation girl aged 15yrs taken to hospital by the Air Ambulance.


Speed Board

 East Bound A27 near Boundstone Lane, David Hansford to investigated progress of repair.


Cycling on pavements & no lights at night.

Inspector Lowe said there is nothing more they can do on this matter.


Local Events:

Councillor Bridges advised that the Farmers Market would take place on the 3rd Saturday of each month and street parties were being planned for the Queens 90th Birthday.


David Hansford reported on his Visits to Connault Theatre : Police presentation on Project Griffen.

Inspector Alan Lowe ran through the main points of the project.


Relationship between Police -NHW – Council & Residents, David Hansford  produced the first draft copy of the organisational map of the interaction between interested parties PCSO Jamie Bennett took a copy of the police structure map away to complete.
